Involved in maintenance of gastrointestinal epithelium; negative regulation of transforming growth factor beta receptor signaling pathway; and spliceosomal snRNP assembly. Located in cytosol. Part of SMN complex. Implicated in adenocarcinoma; colorectal carcinoma; large cell carcinoma; lung carcinoma; and squamous cell neoplasm.
